WHAT IS YOUR STORY ABOUT?

It concerns the original painting of the raising of Lazarus by an
artist who witnessed the event and is commanded by Christ to
paint what he saw. The painting then disappears and is found in
later centuries. It falls into the hands of another artist whereupon it disintegrates and the artist paints his own version. This pattern repeats itself up until the present day. Each painting has the ability to heal.

A crooked ex-Judge hears of the painting’s miraculous powers and
is hired by a terminally ill Spanish noblewoman to attempt to locate it. He hires in turn, two researchers to aid him in its recovery. He has every intention of defrauding her and to make vast sums of money from its discovery.

Broderick Ladro and his partner, Ulla Stuart, his researchers
attempt to prevent him. A battle between them ensues with
remarkable events occurring before the true nature of the painting is revealed.
