Detective Johnson is one step away from catching the killers. Wrestling with his instincts as a father to serve justice his own way, this is no ordinary case for him. Can he stop the vile sadists before they damage more young girls, as well as his own daughter?
Aimee’s ordeal within the compound brings her to the conclusion that she’s no ordinary girl. But can she hang onto her sanity long enough to escape? And will she find a different way to play?
This crime thriller will keep you riveted. It’s no ordinary story.

I write under the pen name Cheryl Elaine for an audience with a keen interest in crime and horror. My target audience is aged sixteen and above, due to graphic content.
I am enthusiastic in my style of writing, its dark and deep. I want to create that impact, a shudder down you’re spine, an emotional rollercoaster of fear. No Ordinary Girl highlights the hidden dangers within the world of human trafficking and how money can buy you anything. Along with the minds and signatures of several serial killers and what made them tick in the first instance and why they chose a path of deadly murder and mutilation. Some may call them Psychopaths, evil, monsters, but yet they are human. Whilst the female protagonist is captured, defeated by a cell of criminals whom call themselves the gamekeepers. Her mind is tainted, her body is broken but she will not be defeated for one moment longer and she sets the wheels in motion, to play a deadly game of her own – revenge.
