A Maine transplant now living in the Florida panhandle, Diana grew up farming and writing. The former society page columnist and artist’s model has returned to her roots, farming more than 500 rabbiteye blueberry bushes and keeps six bee hives.
My writing is from the ground up. The seed, an idea, comes while tending crops. A story emerges. My work is created against a backdrop of sun through a window, a breeze through a screen door, bird songs. For me, without nature, art is impossible.
