Ellie is an American writer and filmmakers.
Ellie does quite of dabbling. She has released the first eighty pages of her fantasy series on Wattpad simply because she loves to share her writing. In 2013, Ellie wrote and co-directed “Carry On” a silent short film. She is currently working on another short film, a visual poem, to be released in the summer of 2019. Ellie has a passion for the film festival circuit. She has volunteered and interned for several festivals over the years including SFFILM. In 2016 her passion for film festivals led her to the first annual Grand Foundation Student Film Festival. To this day she remains with a suspended spot on the board. Her mentor Cynthia Souza knew that she needed time to pursue her own filmmaking endeavors. After interning for, Taylor and Dodge, a distribution company Ellie moved on to the Hospitality and Programming team at Frameline43. She is now focused solely on finding funding for her films and releasing whatever new content she has.
