LA Festival Feature Script: Under the Rose, by Jude Quintiere

This is a true story of profound love between a vibrant young feminist and a nationally celebrated New York City, Roman Catholic priest, that takes place in the shifting beliefs of the 60’s. This transformational love affair was investigated by the FBI and violated the strictest taboos of society, Mother Church and family values. Their love spanned 25 years through the birth of three children, all in absolute secrecy. Under the Rose – sub rosa.

 

Writer Biography – jude Quintiere

 

Jude Quintiere, screenwriter, composer, filmmaker has gained his experience in film production as a producer for New York’s Madison Avenue , add agencies in the 80’s and 90’s, producing TV commercials, short films, documentaries and art films. “The Feast” a short film based on the celebration of Saint Michael the Archangel by local Italian families in Paterson, New Jersey is housed at the Library of Congress Film Archive. Mr Quintiere received his education from The New York College of Music at NYU and Columbia University with degrees in Music.
