30 million black Americans get ½ a million dollars each in reparations. On the same day a right winged, white, conservative talk show host is flabbergasted when his parents tell him they are black and have been passing for white. This satirical, urban tale intensifies when the 21st century Scrooge travels back in time and meets his black, enslaved ancestors. Will he be transformed by confronting his own intolerant beliefs and identity?
Sharon Nash Alexander Bio
I am in graduate school at UGA getting an MFA in Screen Writing. One of my former executive producers paid me a great compliment as he spoke to another executive about me. He said, “She’s a natural”. A natural; this is a term you usually hear about athletes. When I was 4 years old, I had a vision that I was going to be in the entertainment industry. I didn’t know what I was going to be or do, but something. I wrote stories all the time and I was a voracious reader. I have worked in the broadcast entertainment industry as a talk show producer, news reporter and casting director for over 25 years.
